I want to cancel Norton. I subscribed by mistake. Help me please.
I have a new computer and am still getting used to it. McAfee is already installed. I think I was signed up for 30 day free offer but I don't want it.

Using two antiviruses at same it is not advisable because they may treat each other as potential threats. Using one antivirus at a time is good and effective but we should continuously upgrade it and it should be latest version.

when you purchased your Norton product, you had chosen the preference of auto annual renewal. Hence, you cannot cancel renewal immediately. However, you can go to NORTON SUPPORT following this link and speak to them for cancellation. https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/norton-renewal-purchase/current/info

I renewed Jan. 25, 2011 order #NP19443650 and the computer says that I didn't. They keep saying that I didn't renew. Please help. Thank you.

The issue has caused because you have not activated your Norton program with the new product key.
Please check your email confirmation and you will either find a product key or a renewal code.

Copy and paste the code or the product key on the bottom of the Norton program "activate" or "subscribe".

Muhaim

Norton 360 pop-up demndg activation bugs me even after activating

Seems there is an issue with the software instance installed on your computer. You may have to uninstall the version completely and reinstall and reactivate the product. To do this, try the following steps:
  1. Click Here to download the Norton Removal Tool. Download the file from the website and save it on your desktop. Now run the file (Right-click and Run as Administrator for Vista and Win7 users). After cleanup, the tool would ask you to reboot your machine. This removes the Norton product completely from your computer.
  2. Now goto http://www.symantec.com/norton/index.jsp and download the trial version of your product and install it on the computer. You can also use the disk for installation, if you have one.
  3. On installation, the product would give you the activation screen to register the product. Fill in your activation details appropriately to activate the license.

Done!
Good Luck -Abhishek
