Clear the error code and stop the beeping by pressing the "Stop" and "Start" buttons at the same time. Unplug your washer so you can examine the problem.
The error code displays because something is wrong with the motor sensor. This can be for a number of reasons. After you clear the code, try washing clothes again and seeing if the error appears. If it does, then you need to take further steps.
The "dL" error code appears when an item inside the washer prevents the lid from locking properly. Open the washer and readjust any items that may be hitting the lid. The error code should go away once you properly close the lid
The "dL" error code means that the door/lid can't lock. Check to make sure nothing is stopping the lid from closing and locking. If everything looks ok, then you either have a bad door lock or a bad control board.
Hi A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be locked. It will try to lock it six times before displaying the error code. It has happened because Door lock mechanism is broken or removed from door. It may also happen due to Door switch/lock unit failure. To resolve the issue follow these steps--- 1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Check door switch/lock unit. 3. Check the wire harness connections to the door switch/lock unit and Central Control Unit (CCU). Hope this helps...Please post back if you need more information. Daniel
The dL error code is a door lock error. The control board will attempt 6 times to lock the door before displaying the F dL error code. This is an indication that either the door lock is malfunctioning or the control board is not responding to the door locking circuit.
Be sure the door is securely closed before attempting to start the washer. Open the door & check for clothing or something that may be stuck in the door boot area. If the door is securely closed & you still have the error code I would recommend having the door lock assembly replaced.
