I have version 2.0 and 3.0 of the microsoft.net on my computer. I tried to remove them before installing the 3.5 version but it says I can't uninstall them because it will affect other applications. What should I do now?

I'm getting a setup error when trying to download the microsoft.net. I keep trying the print workshop 2008, and any modifications I make on the calendar it will not print that information??? Will this microsoft.net help with that? sorry for all the questions.

Hi,

If your operating system is Windows, you may try to update Microsoft .NET Framework by clicking this link.

Then restart your computer.

Hope this helps.

Please read the instructions before downloading and installing the software which I gave in the link.

If you installed its earlier pre-release versions of that software, you must uninstall them before installing this version by using "Add or Remove" programs menu.

    Good luck.

    Install version 3.5.

    Do not uninstall the others.

    It works.

    Hi,

Would you please tell me about the last error message?

Installing microsoft.NET 3.5 normally must solve your problem after the installation.

You can see the installation instructions on the same download web page in the link which I sent you in my first message. Please follow that instructions. You may need to update Microsoft Service PACK and Windows installer. It is written there.

Would you please read that instructions before installing Microsoft NET.

    Thanks.

I'm waiting your comments and good news.

    Thanks.

    Hello again,

I thought that the Microsoft .NET Framework option may not be enabled in your operating system.

You should make it enable if it is currently not. Otherwise you may not update to Microsoft .NET 3.5 Framework.

I don't know your operating System but for example in Windows 7 it can be setup such as:

    - "From Control Panel" > "Programs"

    - "Programs and Features" > "Turn Windows features on or of"

    - Then after clicking them in the pop up window you will find the "Microsoft .NET Framework" in the list

and check the box on the left of it by clicking the box. (IF IT IS NOT CHECKED BEFORE).

(Check all the previously installed versions to make enable under that box"

Then you can try to update .NET version from internet (from the link which I sent before if your operating system is; Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista or Windows XP.)

But you must select the right version of Microsoft .NET 3.5 Framework.

If your operating system is Windows 7, you must download the version compatible of it.

    Waiting your comments.

    Best.

I have a relatively new Toshiba which has windows vista. I've installed Print workshop 2008 and everytime I try to add a new sheet to create a book for a scrap book I receive An unhandled exception has...

Hate to say it, because I use Vista myself, but it seems that the program "Print Worshop 2008" not really that compatible with Vista...even though they claim that it will work fine. Just another compatibility bug within the two programs. Try first updating your system with all patches, and service packs, or download 2009 version of Print Workshop. I would also try contacting Valusoft.(Valusoft.com). Ask them to send you the newest version (they should send it to you for free if you bought the older version and it is not working)
