How many speakers and what size does a 2004 Cadillac deville have

Depends on whether you have the Bose option or not. If so there are eight speakers - two on the windshield pillars (small), four in the doors (medium), one in the center of the dash (medium) and a sub-woofer in the back shelf. You should be aware that it is extremely difficult to use aftermarket speakers as the Deville versions are designed specifically for the installed audio system - you can try, but only GM dealers sell the correct replacements.

Right side speker bank is dead, this is the second stereo I put in, No sound is comming out of the three speacker on the right side, front, door, and rear.

This could be one of two things. A wiring issue, or an equipment issue. Both are going to be difficult to track. If you used a harness to install the radios, then you are connected properly at the radio. The only way to see if it's a wiring issue is to remove the speaker and use a multimeter to see if signal is getting to your speaker through that wire. The other issue is that the anomoly of all your right speakers failing at the same time could have occured. Personally I think it's a wiring issue. This will be a difficult one to track down, but it can be done. If you are not electronically inclined, I recommend taking it to you local stereo shop. They have all the equipment to track these things down.

Speaker need to be replaced

Good morning all, I just got a 1990 GW GL 1500, the most beautiful ride I have ever been on at this point in my life. I am looking at replacing my stock front speakers and installing some rear speakers. If I could enlist some opinions on what are good quality speakers, front and rear and will it be difficult to install. I would appreciate some suggestions on speaker brands and some instructions on the installation part. May you all continue to ride safe. Thank you

I have a mustang 98 and i install 2 speakers panasonic 300w and now i hear feedback in from my car when i push acelator can you tell me how can fixed

Replacing 2 speakers will not cause engine whine. Did you install amplifiers and subwoofers or just replace 2 existing speakers? If it was an amplifier install then engine whine is a very difficult thing to diagnose and fix.

I need to know who is better for my cherokee sport 1999 ..!!!

Hello leonardoe,

The MB Quart's are component speakers and the PPI's are coaxials. In an "apples to oranges" comparison, the MB Quarts win. Most component systems in the same price range as a coaxial will have better sound imaging simply because you can mount the tweeters up high for better high frequency dispersion. Some also allow you to make adjustments to the crossover, which is built-in and fixed on the coaxial.

But component systems are more difficult to install. If your vehicle doesn't already have the wiring for separate tweeters, you have to install it. Likewise, the mounting of separate tweeters adds to the installation complexity.

Hope this helps.

I want to install the DEH-3700MP in my car I forgot which wire go to what speaker. I know that the wires with the black stripe is the negative.  Dan

The speaker conections come with their own color: green/greenblack-striped yellow/yellowblack-striped and so on .
these speaker outputs should not be too difficult to sort out.
Just connect one speaker and determine wich speaker sounds, confirm if it is the right speaker by changing the fader and balance on the radio and this way you'll know if it is the right output...

Stereo Upgrade in 1997 Sentra

hi there. I am not sure about the speakers. But there is a wiring harness available for a aftermarket head unit. I have a '97 sentra the base model XE version. I have just put in an alpine head unit and you defenately hear the difference even on factory speakers. But you will need 2 kits to install an aftermarket head unit in the car. 1. A dash kit. I got mine from canadian tire for about 20 bucks, it comes with instructions on how to put it together and its straight forward, just make sure u get the one for your year and make of car.

2. The wiring harness. there available at mostly every car audio place for about 10 bucks. again make sure u get the one for your year make and model of car. installing this is difficult so unless your good at electronics get it professionally installed. you have to splice the wires into the back of the aftermarket unit, then the plugs plug right into your existing factory car harness.

hope this solves your problem, the dash kit is easy to put together and install into the car, but the wiring harness is a bit difficult, i had my harness installed for about 40 bucks and u save money if u put the dash kit togehter yourself because thats 1 less thing they have to do. good luck.

Removing old speakers frm rear deck and installing new ones

this sholdnt be to difficult, there should be screws holding the speakers in underneath them so just unscrew these but make sure you dissconect the wires first once this is done they should lift out and then just get your new ones place them in then replace screws back in and reconnect the wires and that should be it.
