Can Imagerunner iRC3200 be set as black default?

This is a tricky one. The newer MAC OSX does not like the older printer drivers. It usally requires extra software from Apple to deal with these products. Now that being said it should load by itself. I can tell you without a doubt you can not use the self installer as it will fail each and every time. To keep it simple get ip address of the iRC3220 and go in to you printer install and point it to the PPD file which you can get from the Canon website. Final point... There is a different PPD for iRC3200 with Fiery (C1 print controllers) and one without. They are not cross compatible. You will see iRC3200 with C1 and one just saying iRC3200. Pick the right one. Oops one more point the Queue name will be just the word print. Good Luck.

if you have the fiery box installed on your machine that might be why you can't change your IP setting from the additional functions setting.

On the main screen you should have a "Printer" tab press that & you can then enter setup & change the IP address etc. Hope this helps.

Just a note to everyone, if you have not seen it you will. False jams right above the fuser (OD91). If you remove the jam the paper feeds to the same area and "jams" again. Reset the power and you are set to go. I have seen this problem on Ir C3200s and IrC3220.

First set it to B/W on screen then in additional functions /copy settings/page down to store settings then store and reset to quit.

ok the driver for the printer is at imagerunner.com support/ drivers/ office-production then look for imagepass E-1 im assuming you have a print controller attached to the copier. i think you can also get the guides there also for the fiery... Not sure about manuals for the copier never looked

when stop printing you should have posted the problem then, you probable damage the board, you need to replace the booth rom first

in the printer settings you can check there is a only one color selected so please change in auto coulor. if solve this ple letme konw at my email add ok sir take care
