There is a hole in the top of the gearbox where the reel fits. Put a screwdriver or similar down this hole and it will lock the gearbox.

Replacing strimmer line on trueshopping hmlp4304ni1

Hi, on the side of the black spindle should be two tabs, push these in & the spindle cover should come off in your hands, Inside you will find a dual reel, one length of line needs to be fed in one way & the other the other way, making sure you have enough strimmer line free from either the slots or the hole on the side of the reel put this reel back on the spindle & pop on your black spindle cover, Job done.

A repair shop is replacing the clutch on my 1995 toyota 4runner. 5-spd.. They are also telling me that the input shaft needs to be replaced. Is this necessary?

the shaft has what are called splines and if the shaft gets twisted the clutch is unable to move on the shaft and would require replacement

Stihl strimmer engine runs but wont cut grass the head wont turn what cuts grass

First take the head off and look for grass, weeds and string wound up in there. A lot of times that's the problem.

Next, with the head off and the switch in the off position, pull it over a few times and see if the shaft spins. If not, could be a broken shaft or a bad clutch.
