Question about Black & Decker Le750 Lawn Edger
Check the switch, it could burnout. The trigger switch made on this model are very cheap and can not supply current to motor for a long time without burning out. So it could be that switch has melted, and plastic is covering parts of the terminal.

My LE500 edger just stopped. After reading a number of posts, checking the switch, verifying the brushes are in working order, etc.; I found another solution. Once you have taken off the black cover to expose the motor, look at the inside of the cover itself. There are, or should be, two rubber stoppers or cylinders. These stoppers press down on the brushes, which in turn positions the brushes against the armature. If there is unsufficent pressure on the brushes they will not align properly and the edger will not run. I extended the stoppers slightly from the housing, reassembled the edger, and the edger works fine.
