I am getting e3 error code every 30 minutes with my lg conditioner

e3 error code comes when room not getting cool after 3 hours ac working, pls close all doors and windows and if possible try to run ac in an empty room for 1 hour , then check for fault,

Unfortunately, the E3 Error Code is not listed in the Service Manual for you model. To find the solution to this, Call an LG support representative(800) 243-0000. Have the Correct Model Number handy when you call.

micheline, according to the LG Owner's Manual for the Model Number you listed, there is no LED display on the casement window unit (please see the Owner's Manual link below). How are you getting an E3 error code? Or by chance, did you list the wrong model number? Even Goldstar, that is made by LG, doesn't show your model number.

If you have a goldstar GP120CE portable air conditioner with the E3 error and it's not under warranty you may be out of luck.When I called LG, (who owns Goldstar), they said these units are not cost effective to repair so finding a company to service them is difficult. If it were under warranty they would exchange it..
