Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
I TRIED LOADING THE MCAFEE VIRUS PRO SP ED AND IT WOULD ONLY LOAD PART WAYS AND SAID A SYSTEM ERROR HAS OCCURED. TOOK MCAFEE OFF AND TRIED A NEW SYSTEM WEBROOT AND THAT WOULDN'T LOAD ONLY `16%
SO I REMOVED THAT AND WENT BACK TO MCAFEEE AND I STILL GET A SYSTEM ERROR HAS OCCURED.WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??
Thi frgraunke, if I understood your problem correctly. Please try the System File Checker. Click on Start - Run and type "sfc /scannow" (with no quotes). - Please have the Windows CD inserted. This will check for system files and copy the bad ones from the CD. Then restart and remove ALL the antivirus. Restart again and download Avira Antivirus. @ www.free-av.com (it's awesome and free!) Then update and do a full system scan. Probably you have a virus. I hope this helps. Don't forget to rate and provide positive feedback for our fast-free response today. Thank you :D
