The left step goes down further than the right. You have to step down really ******* the right side to make it even.

Sounds like the hydraulic cylinders are bad. Try replacing them and should fix the problem.

Black dust coming out

I just got a BowFlex TreadClimber TC3000. I have been using it for about 1 week and I noticed black dust coming out of the back. It was near the treadles. I called BowFlex and they said that this is normal during the first few weeks of use. This is the coating coming off of the treads. They said I could vaccum it up. They also mentioned that they only time to really worry is if there is white dust. That is the actual treads wearing off. Hope that helps!

Error code E5-5

I didn't use mine for several years then just started again. It stopped after 15 minutes so I read the manual and used a silcone lubricant on/under the treads as recommended. That definitely helped and it was working again quite well for about a week or two. Now I get the error 5 again. Wondering if I needed to add MORE lubricant the first time so I am going to do it again tonight. Maybe it is the roller pully that needs the lubricant. Who knows. I just want it to work!! I am determined. :)

Sensor wires detatched during initial assembly of Bowflex TC1000

You will need to make contact with bowflex if you broke the item. You may be able to glue back the item as well. The front lid come off, sometime you have to tilt the machine with another person. This will allow you to get to the under side.
