I have a HP pavillion DV6-1250us Windows vista home premium and i cannot get my mouse to scroll up or down? how do i fix this?

To move the pointer, slide your finger across the TouchPad surface in the direction you want the pointer to go. Use the TouchPad buttons like the corresponding buttons on an external mouse. To scroll up and down using the TouchPad vertical scroll zone (right edge of the touchpad), slide your finger up or down over the lines.

NOTE: If you are using the TouchPad to move the pointer, you must lift your finger off the TouchPad
before moving it to the scroll zone.

I have a new Dell Latitude E6410. While typing the cursor moves automatically causing inserting/erasing text. How do I fix this?

I'm assuming you are using some version of MS Windows.

I found this on the Dell support website;
  • Click Start.
  • In the Search box type main.cpl, click main.cpl in the list of programs.
  • In Windows XP click Run, type main.cpl in the box next to Open, click OK.
  • Click the Dell Touchpad tab.
  • Click on the picture of the touchpad.
  • Click Touchpad Settings.
  • Make sure there is a check in the box to the left of TouchCheck, move the slider bar all the way to the right (this can always be adjusted back).
  • Uncheck the box to the left of b>Tap to Click.
  • Move the slider in the Touch Sensitivity area to the right until it is 3/4 of the way toward Heavy Touch.
  • Click Apply, then click OK.
  • Click the X in the upper-right corner to close the Dell Touchpad Utility.
Hope this helps ;)

When I move my mouse left it goes right on my sony touchpad It seems like the movement is backwards and sometimes it stalls out, So when I click on something it seems like it does not want to work , Or...

did you ever open you mouse and clean it? It's simply to do and u don't need any tool for that.Just "turn" thie piece on the back ot the mouse in the right way,see how pieces are adjusted, clean and put in order!!!!The ball on the back can't move easily because of the dirtiness. It's just only after cleaning several times u can if it still doesn't work that definitely u should replace it. i hope u're using a mouse mat.If it's too old change it too.

It happens with both? Sounds like it may be a driver or motherboard issue.
