If you have this problem with an Honda radio, it means thae anti theft lock had been activated. To unlock the radio you need to insert the 5 digit radio serial number. This usually it is in the book, or on a sticker in the glovebox. If it is not there, or you lost the book, then you will need to pull out the whole car stereo to get the number.

I have the radio code but keep getting an erre message after I tried to put in the code a few times but it would not take

It is probably going to take a trip to the dealer or a good shop that has the proper scanner. The computer has to be accessed and the code(s) entered thru the scanner. Please let me know if that is not the case.

My radio has an Erre message on the dash. How do I reset this?

Enter the lock code; sometimes is in the last pages from owners manual; if not, must visit the dealer with the VIN number and ask for this. The lock code is unique for each vehicle, anyone could sell you for internet.

Hope this helps.

My battery died on me the other day and now the radio won't work.

The Accord radio does indeed require a code. Have you tried just putting the code in. If you do not know the code do not attempt to guess, as after a few attempts you will lock the radio for good. I need to know the error message exactly as you see it if inserting the code does not work.

Error code: errE on radio

either the radio must be replaced, because honda has problems with the radio. or you need to disconnect the battery for 10 seconds then put in the radio code again

How do you reset erre for radio on 2004 acura?

Look in the Acura book that came with the car then you have to do this: If you have jumped or replaced the battery at anytime this will happen. You have to get the serial number off the radio by removing it or partially taking it out to see the numbers on it try not to remove any cords. With the stereo out (to make sure you get the right number off of it) call an Acura dealership with the number and they will give you the another number to enter into the stereo and directions on how to punch the numbers in. Make sure while you have the stereo out you write the serial number down and keep it in a safe place also the number that the Acura dealership gives you because if you sell the car or if it happens again its easily accessible. Good Luck!

Radio does not work.

what you need is the radio code to get rid of the error code just disconnect both battery cables touch them together for approx. 30 seconds reconnect cables turn on the radio it should read code there might be a credit card size card in the glove box with the radio code if not look for a sticker in the glove box this is your radio code if not then the radio has to be removed to get the radio seial# then call a honda dealer up give them this number and they can look it up or if your bought the car new call that dealer up they should have this in their history

My daughter borrowed my car (a 2003 Honda CRV EX) and accidently left a light. After jumping the car, I found the radio/CD player does not work. The time is correct and is blinking. If I hit any button,...

You'll have to get to the dealer to have them give you the Radio lock out code. Once they give you the code, punch it in, and everything will be back to normal.
