Question about Computers & Internet
I forgot the passcode on my router and I can't get on line with my laptop, my question is how can I change the passcode if I dont have the old one. Please advise how. Iam new to PC
If you hit the reset button on your router you can restore it to factory defaults. then, you can log into the default IP address of your router and change the password to what you want. This is the only way to change it- being able to change your password without having the old one would be a GLARING security hole. If you update your question with the model # of your belkin I can find the manual online. It will list the default IP address, username and password that you will need to access it after the reset.
