Question about Canon PowerShot SD550 / IXUS 750 Digital Camera
The flash on my canon sd550 starts to work but does not follow through
Let me tell you the possiable causes of this issue you having with your camera and then you can decern the best course of action.
the flash has a capacitor inside the filles up with power from the battery then once charged dilvers a sustained voltage to the bulb to create the flash.
Now if this componet has failed or is intermittant then this would happend.
Keep in mind that a battery that is towards the end of its prime will do this to so do not just go for repair all of the sudden try a new battery. If the new battery does not work then you know you got the issue I am talking about thus you going ot need a camera shop to change out that peice.
thanks for your attention and prompt ratings and feedback today.
