LE is motor overload - Does it let you 'try' to start a load, make some noise, and then say LE after a minute or two? If so, you need to replace the hall sensor. See here: http://www.fixya.com/support/t260950-lg_tromm_wm2277hw_will_not_spin_both

SOURCE: LG Front load washer LE error code

LE is a locked motor error. Not to worry as 95% of the time it is just a bad hall sensor (the motor position sensor). For your model the part number is 6501KW2002A.

SOURCE: LG washerwon't spin

Hi,

I had the same error code along with the drum "freezing" up. The first unit that was delivered 2 years ago leaked water from the detergent compartment and they sent a second unit. I have only had this unit for 2 years and I am very disappointed in the LG product. LG was no help on the phone and I the only people that could service it were 45min away from were I live. I took the advice of a posting on this website that it could be a part called the sensor assembly and ordered it from an online electronics store (www.mcminone.com). To get to the sensor assembly, you first unplug and take off the back plate that has 4 small screws. Next, unscrew the big bolt in the middle and take off the hubcap looking part the bolt was securing. Next unclip the two sets of wires on the bottom of the circle you are looking at (the set of wires to the right are connected to the sensor assembly you want to replace). Next you will unscrew the 6 or so smaller bolts to take off the circular piece that the sensor assembly is snapped to. Take it off, unclip the old sensor assembly and clip on the new one – and reassemble. This worked perfectly for me and the part only cost $18 bucks plus shipping. When working, this product works well but I will not be purchasing any LG products in the future.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

SOURCE: Error code LE on LG Wm1815cs

Error OE appears after about 10 minutes into a cycle. "OE" in the manual says filter clogged....we have checked & cleaned all of the lines/filter. Now we hear a light humming instead and the washer isn't doing anything...

Lg front load wm le error pls help

This LE error or fault code indicates that the washer motor is either overheating or has lost connection to the motor control circuit board. Turn off the machine for 30 minutes to let the motor cool down. Then, restart the washer. If the code comes back immediately the motor is not likely to be at fault and so you should check the wiring from the motor to the motor control board. Also, check the wiring and condition of the rotor position sensor, also called a HALL sensor. If the code doesn't come back on immediately, but returns after the washer has run for a while, the motor stator may be defective.

LG Tromm washer is not working with getting LE message.

LE code means locked motor error. you need to check the Hall Sensor. unplug the power, remove the rear washer panel, locate the Hall sensor connector on the stator behind the rotor. you can test it with an OHM meter for failure. it may just be an unstable connection.
