I deleted cookies and files, it is still locked up. I received an invitation to play a Knight/vassel game on Facebook yesterday and the porblem showed up then. I deleted my connection to the application but I cannot access profile or messages or pictures. Facebook said they were working on the problem that other users were also having similar problems. I think it was caused by the applicaiton.

For that make sure your internet speed is fine.
Press windows key +R key then type in run "%tmp%" then press ok then remove all temp files.Type in run "prefetch" then press ok then remove all prefetch files.
Also remove all cookies.
Turn off firewall of windows and antivirus firewall.
Also try another browser like mozila.
Most of this issue comes because of low bandwidth and low speed of internet so if you try after some times or some day then you can see facebook profile .
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Pictures not showing on Facebook

The Facebook profile picture is often the first thing that visitors notice when they come to your page. Your picture also helps old friends and acquaintances to find your page and connect with you. If your profile picture is not showing up, you could be missing many valuable connections. The most common reason for a profile picture not showing is a Facebook bug. These bugs will usually be corrected and will not require any action from you. The display picture may also not come up because it wasn't uploaded and selected correctly.

Upload your profile picture. Log into your Facebook profile. Select "Edit My Profile." Click "Profile Picture." Select "Choose File." Select your profile picture in the browser window, and click "Open." The picture is now set as your profile picture. Make your album picture your profile picture. Click "Photos" on your Facebook page. Click on an album. Double-click on a picture. Choose "Make Profile Picture" underneath the photo. Unblock Facebook images in Firefox. If you are using the Firefox Web browser, click the "Tools" menu and select "Options." Click the "Content" tab and click "Exceptions." Highlight the Facebook URL in the Exceptions window. Click "Remove Site." Close the Exceptions window. Then click "OK." Close and restart the Firefox browser. Hope this helps.

Privacy setting updates not taking effect

After you change your privacy settings, click Save Changes. The new facebook adds your saved favorite applications you want to show on your profile page, next to Info, Photos, you have to click the right arrow. This is to reduce page clutter such as Myspace has tons of clutter and pages take forever to load due to inexperienced users trying to make web sites. Make sure you Refresh your browser to view changes made to the page (F5).
