have you plugged in the usb dongle? did you install the drivers for the dongle? the drivers might be on an accompanying CD or you could run windows update with the device plugged in, it should find a driver.
Theencryption key secures your data from unauthorized access.
The router's password is a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA orWPA2 encryption key.
The Passphrase generates the WEP or WPA or WPA2 encryptionkey and this is in the router's wireless settings.
To connect to your wireless router, configure the router'swireless settings ie SSID, plus the WPAor WPA2 encryption key and then configure wireless cards in the laptops and orcomputers with these router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktopcomputers can communicate with your wireless router.
Try and plug it in anyway.Windows have lots of drivers pre installed in the O.S. so you might find it will load without a disc. If not you may need another comp and download the drivers from logitech or where ever, and burn to a disc to load on yours. good luck JLS
I suppose you should reset the keyboard and mouse and maybe the access point itself. Try find small buttons on each devise and press them AT THE TIME. You may need somebody's help. Those buttos can by hidden under mouse and keyboard and should be on the top of the access point. This depend on the model, so please reffer to a manual.
I was just about to write "I have the same problem", but i think i fixed it!!!!
background: I move my wireless keybd/mouse between my desktop and laptop units.... All was fine until a few days ago when some update completely disabled my desktop... I think the wireless began malfunctioning about the same time.
Just now, I pressed the ?reconnect button? on the front of the keybd/mouse receiver then pressed the connect buttons on the back of each device and PRESTO!! the keybrd works!!!
I just typed this entire message with the wireless keybd.
