Question about Sony CDX-L480X CD Player
If your car doen't have a factory harness that you can grab power (+) and ground (-). you can run one wire from the battery (fused 10-15amp) and connect that to the yellow wire on the sony. Then find a fuse in your glove box (preferably the cigarette lighter fuse) that send power when the key turns to ignition (fuse that also) then hook that wire up to the red wire coming out of the sony. As for the black wire coming out the back, find the closest bare metal behind your dash and use a self-tapping screw to secure the wire to that. If you do have a harness behind your dash you can normally get all those wire in that harness (saves a lot of time).
