Re: No matter what I do, my camera keeps giving me a...
I had the same problem and checked the manual. If you haven't used the camera in a while and there were either no batteries or dead batteries in it, put in new batteries, keep it off, and WAIT a few minutes. Then try to turn it on. This helped with Pentax Optio E40.
I have the exact same problem with my Pentax camera. One day i tried to turn it on and it just showed this message. It worked perfectly before this! it isn't a very old camera either. It was be a manufacturing fault, because their are a lot of complaints for this problem. great camera BUT a big fault.
I have the same damm problem... no matter what it does not work!!
Same problem with Pentax s60, Any ideas?
Battery Depleted message when try to turn on camera. New batteries tried, including rechargables but no luck! From the sound of it it seems like a generic fault with this brand.... i know for next time and certainly won't be getting another pentax....! Anyone fixed it yet or come with alt solution? :-) Thanx
Yes I had ine for 5 months and it keeps displaying the same error message : "battery depleted " even when I put brand new ones in. There has to be a solution to this problem. someone please help
