Gas flow through the carburetor is clogged. Easy fix is the following----- remove all gas from tank (siphon or drain). Put that gas aside or dispose of it. Use a little bit of fresh gas and a little bit of carburetor cleaner in the tank. Run that through (by running the motor with the choke.). Do it several time if needed. When it seems to be running better, then try just a little gas only to be sure you have cleared it. When you fill-er-up, be sure to add a gas additive like Sea Foam or similar.

Starts with choke, disengage choke , runs a short while, then sounds bogged down & dies.

Could be a couple of things. First guess is the carburetor is bad. Because when the saw goes from the choke circuit to run it dies.

Husqvarna Model 136 chainsaw will only run for a short time with choke closed. Engine quits shortly after choke is opened.

Take apart the fueling system and carb. Something is blocking or gummed up. One thing that sometimes works is to remove air filter, rev the unit up, and place hand fully over the intake, and remove before unit stalls. This sometimes will clear the blockage.

Husqvarna 235e will not stay running

Take the saw back for warranty service. We have a Husky #435 that had starting problems when new last year--warranty service replaced the ignition module the first trip, then a little later, they replaced the carburetor--it has worked very well since. I suspect that Husqvarna has had problems with our ethanol blended fuels. Hope this helps!

Lawn mower stays running on jumper cables but once disconnected it shuts down when choke is engaged

if it is already running and you "engage" the choke, you will flood the engine with too much gas and it will sputter and die. the only time you engage the choke is to start the engine when it is cold. if the mower dies when you remove jumper cables, and you leave the choke alone, you need to have someone look at your charging system.

Husqvarna 142e will not stay running. Going through the sequence of full/half choke it will start and run at high rpm when choked. Even after warmed up, it will die within a few seconds after dropping the...

Hi,
If it is only running high at full choke - then it is not getting enough fuel.
You've cleaned out the whole thing - so it's not air that's the problem. It's running - so it's not a spark problem - it's a fuel problem.

If you have a fuel filter - change it out or clean it properly. If the fuel line is clear, then you need to adjust the running setting of the carb - there are usually 2 setting knobs -one for idle - one for running / mix.
You need it running richer till you get it going - then trim it back to stop it smoking and get a good rev.

Husqvarna 350 wont stay running?

ok,  The choke is used to change the air/fuel mixture by "choking" off the air that goes to the carburator.  The choke is only used to get the motor running in cold temperatures.  Once the motor is started, the choke must be opened or the motor will flood and stall when you open the throttle.    I hope this solves your problem.  Best wishes, Michael Mittelsdorf
