Question about Delta & Single Handle Shower Faucet

The handle requires a very small flat head screw driver or hex tool to remove. There is a small hole on the handle which holds this set screw.
Once you remove the handle. the center tube should slide off easily. if not., just wiggle a little bit.
Once the center tube is removed you will see the valve. The valve is held in place by a brass ring. the ( round ) brass ring is about 1 1/4 inch and is screwed into a mating male brass tube. "Between the 2 brass tubes is a black rubber gasket"
Unscrew this brass ring and the valve then simply pulls out.
This delta design is simple and very durable., I hope this helps.
