Hi.

This problem is usually caused by a faulty inverter. In some occasion a faulty power board not supplying proper voltage to the inverter, or a faulty controller board can cause the problem.

Usually the problem is the inverter.

If the power adapter is external, then there is only one voltage, in that case the power adapter is tested reading volts at the DC connector. Voltage must differ of no more of .5 Volts from value stated on specs.

If the power cord connects AC directly to the TV, then there is an internal PSU with different voltages. One of the higher DC lines goes to inverter, this must be tested.

Here how to test parts in case the TV uses an interna power supply:How to test an LCD TV or monitor PSU and Inverter.

Testing and repair must be done by a technician.

To get parts, or to get a quote on repair call the number listed on the owners manual. If you have misplaced the manual, look for the Imation or Memorex (they are same company) support number in your area. Here the US contact.

Please do not forget to leave feedback. That is important for us.

Regards.

My screens works for about 10 or 15 minutes and then goes out...

You could have a faulty inverter or a CCFL lamp, To determine if you have a LCD screen, inverter or video card problem, read this and follow these instructions.
Defective CCFL backlight, it may have the following symptom: Screen flashs on red/pink and off. Picture stays on in red and slowly be come normal. Picture flickering with dim display or appear black. Picture flickering on and off. All these symptoms indicate that the LCD backlight lamp (CCFL Lamp) has reached the end of the life and all you need to do is replacing the CCFL lamp.
Connect an external monitor to your laptop and power the monitor up first then the laptop, if you see the normal Windows images then the video card and laptop is OK and the problem is definitely the backlight. Dim image and/or dark display on the laptop's LCD screen indicates a faulty LCD backlight and it could be the inverter that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or it is the CCLF lamp is nearly burnt out or burnt out, most likely this is the case.
The inverter can be replaced easily but the CCLF lamp is more time consuming and requires soldering skills.

Picture disappears and changes to white screen

I am assuming that this is the nature of the fault and that it is repeatable. Does what you have described occurs every time you turn the damn thing on. You haven't said is whether or not there are changes in sound when the screen malfunctions or whether your unit plugs into a GPO or a black box which plugs into the GPO.However this only dictates the ease with which the faulty component is replaced What seems to be happening is that white level controls are setting to maximum gain. If the control is digital It is almost certainly due to dirty power. The sound level should also change if the power supply is the culprit. Spikes cause the gain on the control to ramp up or down erratically (change) on digital parameter controls. This resulting in bleeding for white levels and a change in the sound levels. Replace the power supply if possible. A cheap workaround can be made if my assumptions are correct and the main transformer is not faulty. Leave a post if you want more info
