Question about Televison & Video
This problem is usually caused by a faulty inverter. In some occasion a faulty power board not supplying proper voltage to the inverter, or a faulty controller board can cause the problem.
Usually the problem is the inverter.
If the power adapter is external, then there is only one voltage, in that case the power adapter is tested reading volts at the DC connector. Voltage must differ of no more of .5 Volts from value stated on specs.
If the power cord connects AC directly to the TV, then there is an internal PSU with different voltages. One of the higher DC lines goes to inverter, this must be tested.

Testing and repair must be done by a technician.
