Question about RCA F19421 19" TV
Our RCA F19421 19'' TV started having a problem with low volume level a few days ago. With the control indicator turned up all the way, the output volume is about half of what it was before. What could be the problem?

this may be due to loose connection. try to fix the connection both from the power supply and device. If that doesn't work change the channel using the guide that was given with the device.

this is the same type of problem happening with other rca models and I know it is the EPROM CHIP but why this is failing is either because of design flaw , dirty enviroment that they were made in , to much voltage or current to the chip or too much of a draw from the chip causing it to fail . Or even a random frequency from the IR sensor or its circut I'm still investigating and testing.
leave the tv unplugged for at least 3 weeks durring this time resolder any solder that don't look good , I did this and it lasted for about 6 months(always plugged in to the wall) before it started doing it again. model # 27v412t

if you are using a digital converter along with a standard tv , you have one volume level low making the unbalance sound a humming sound, if it is directlly into your tv, check your settings on your tv bass, trebile, by the sound of it you probably have a digital converter , if this is so, raise the volume of your TV to mid point that raise /lower your volume on the converter and it should be fine, also make sure your ouput channel is not the same as your broadcast channel in your area, example,,if your area uses channel 3 for broadcast, set your rf output to chann 4 , and vice versa.

1. Hold down MENU on the remote and VOLUME DOWN on the TV it's self at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be unlocked
2. Hold down the 0 on the remote and the VOLUME DOWN buttons on the TV its self at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be unlocked
3. Hold down the MENU button on the front of the TV and the TV button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds.
4. Hold down GO BACK on the remote and MENU on the front of the TV at the same time for at least 4 seconds.
5. Hold down EJECT on the front of the TV and the MENU button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds.
Depending on the model, one of the methods should unlock the V-chip. Now, if desired, you can change the settings on the V-chip by going to the MENU and going to PARENTAL CONTROLS, or on some sets, going to MENU and then going to TV SETUP, then to V-CHIP SET.
If you have the original remote (RC-A07) for Sinotec tv, then press and hold down the Music button for about 10 seconds
