Whirlpool oven won't come on

I have a whirlpool 30'' range and the oven won't come on. I hear a click but that's all. Please if you can assist me with this issue I'd appreciate it very much.The model # is SF362LXSY Thank you!

The Oven and Range are working; however I have a F5 code on the display. Can you tell me what this means?


The F5 code means that the range door isn't latching properly (for some Whirlpool ranges). Check the latch when the oven is cool. If it is loose, tighten the screws that hold the latch. Try opening and closing the door to see if the latch is clicking shut properly. Then unplug the range for 30 seconds to a minute to reset the unit. If the error clears, you're done.

If the error persists, clean the latch area. With the oven not in use, rub the latch area with a cloth that you dunked in hot water and wrung out the excess water. Then dry with a paper towel.

If cleaning doesn't help, the latch probably needs to be replaced.

My oven has an error E1 F5. It was working fine until I tried to use the self cleaner. Now the oven and self cleaner will not work . Only beeps when I try to cut it on.

Self cleaning oven error code FSEO


Probably a bad door lock solenoid. That is some kind of door lock problem. Trouble is they are not all the same. This training manual shows locations of model number. Perhaps if you post that I might can come up with a tech sheet and you would get a better answer. see page 4

Whirlpool GS563LXSS: bake and broil doesn't work.


Oven suddenly stopped to work.
After trying to turn on "bake" or "broil" I can hear couple clicks but nothing else happens.

Can hear the clicking of the auto starter when starting the oven, but it stops after 5 seconds and then the oven simply fills with gas. Broiler still works fine as do the stove top burners. Any thoughts?

Good question? You may have a plugged up burner and or the pipes or jets may not be adjusted correctly and it could be your igniter on the gas range because it is not igniting the spark to create the flame. You may want to have it check out with an authorized service repair tech to make sure it is safe and will function well.
