Question about Raymarine Type I Linear Drive M81130
When autopilot activated, motor runs but linear drive not gets out.
Assume clutch does not operate.
Try putting 12 vdc directly to the clutch circuit. You should hear the clutch engage. If this is operating properly, then the course computer circuit has failed. If this is not working then the linear drive needs to be rebuilt.

You can also check if the clutch wire is not broken outside or inside the unit, use a multimeter to check resistance of wire and clutch inductor.
