Question about HP Photosmart C6100 All-In-One Printer
C6100 HP all in one printer cycles on and off with message ( do not unplug, printer not shut down properly). Printer started this cycle when I was in bed at 2am no power surge or storm.
drives me crazy has this printer printed it's last page? Thank you for your help.
I had this happen once a long time ago, try these options below...
turn printer on/off, unplug, wait a minute plug in, should reset configs.
go to applications folder for your computer, dbl click printer icon for make of printer. check settings. print 'test document and clean cartridge heads', this should ensure proper printing formats.
lastly, go to web site of printer model and check site for trouble shooting if this does not work above. hp has an AWESOME web site for trouble shooting
hope this helps and good luck
