Question about Creative Labs Zen Digital Media Player
ZEN player is fully charged and working fine. I loaded some new files onto it. After disconnecting from computer, ZEN will not fully power up. I get the "Creative" logo, then the "ZEN", then a blank screen. The blue power light is on, but the screen stays blank. The ZEN will not power off unless I poke the reset button. Then I go back to the same power up sequence that ends in a blank screen.
First back up all of your music and do this: Turn off the player and make sure it is disconnected from the computer. Then press and hold the play/pause button and turn it on simultaneously. It will then enter recovery mode. Scroll down and select format (all) and let it format and it should work like normal. If it freezes again, then you may need a firmware update.
