The cartridges for the PIXMA MX320 look very much like the type used in my mom's and my HP printers. The only difference is slightly in the shape and height. I have save both her and myself a lot of money by refilling them-some have worked 8-10 cycles before they stopped. Also when you buy them they are only about 2/3rds full. I have weighed new, empty and refilled and they really scam you.

On some there is actually a hole or holes in the top under the sticker if not you will need to make one with a small drill bit. But before peeling back the sticker press down on the sticker with your thumbnail as if trying to make the sticker adhere better. If you see any indentations as if the may be a 1-1.5mm hole under it try to poke it with a tooth pick and see if you can break through the sticker. If not peel the sticker back carefully if so read below. If there are no holes drill them into the top carefully into 3 places. I don't know for sure if these are the same as mine but my HP cartridges have holes about 1/2" from the front towards the back and about 1/4" in from the sides. and the other in the rear is centered and about 1/2" from the rear. Some have 2 other holes in between the single and the 2 in the front I think maybe for white. This would mean 4 reservoirs. If no holes try to drill with a bit the size 1mm or as large as a plain toothpick. The toothpick is what I use to verify the color in each reservoir. Just poke it into the sponge and see what the tip has. If red fill that section with red using a 20cc syringe or so. Use latex gloves and lots of newspapers and fill very slowly and keep a cotton ball next to the syringe in case. Repeat for the others. When done replace the sticker if you can or use some good tape, I won't leak if upright anyways. You may screw up on your 1st one or 2 but if you figure it out you can save some $. You may want to try a black to begin with.
good luck

Refillable cartridges for X5495

34 and 35 are refillable. The ones you get with your printer aren't.
Now, I don't understand why the colors are mixed. Is the 35 you tried a new cartridge or a refilled one?

Colour comes out 'faded' with purple colouration when photos should be bright and clear strong colours . cartridges not empty.

Sounds like a bad print head or bad cartridge. If you bought refilled cartridges, i would suspect that as the culprit first.

I refilled a 33 colour cartridge still says low

I would like to inform you that Lexmark printers does not support refilled cartridges. Please note that #33 cartridge is know as a rushmore cartridge and in this cartridge it has memory chip on it to identifiy the ink estimation. hence it is not possible to change the low ink indication.

Please note: using refilled cartridge may void ur printer warranty.

Too much ink

Hi, sounds like the colours are mixing because of the overfill. You can try this , but may take a while.
Get some tissues (around 6) fold them in half and put on the table. Keep dabbing your ink cartridge on the tissues in different places until you can see the 3 different colours clearly. This can take a while, but generally does work...

How to use only black when the color is finished

you cannot use the printer by just keeping only 1 cartridge in the printer.as both the cartridges should be present in the printer then let the colour cartridge is empty what the problem is.you can print the black printouts with empty colour cartridge in the printer, but both the cartridges should be in the printer.and if still you get the message as colour cartridge is empty please replace the colour cartridge.the simple option is yopu can get the same cartridge refilled.as the cost of refilling is 10 times less then the new cartridge.

Refilled ink cartridges problem colour

this is not a printer problem, you have a problem with colour cartridge! u can fix this in 2 diferent way: 1. replace the colour cartridge with new one, or gently clean the nozzle cartridge with a wet tissue until the cyan colour mark a line on the tissue just like the others colours: yellow and magenta. maybe must repeat this several times.

Color ink is not working

Dear Black Rose
It is strongly recommended to change your colour cartridge.
Or it can be possible that you did not use your colour cartridge for a long time.
The nozzle of colour cartridge are blocked, if you did not use your colour cartridge for a long time.
Purchase a new cartridge if you can or go for a local refiller to refill (if possible) your colour cartridge.
Thanks
