You don't need to directly go for a new motherboard, but first check/ try with another power supply and make sure you connect the Four Pin Power cable also (it's located at the right corner white in color with four female socket) can't strat up the computer - 20080703220330_05402013467_p5qc.jpg If this doesn't work, check the ram and processor if they are sat fit. Good luck...

No display . i had the ocmputer on and then came back about 15 mins later and noticed the display went black and now I can't get it to come back on.

Most probably it has gone into standby mode - press the power button momentarily, it should come back to life if it's this case.
Of course it may be something more serious, but try that for starters. If it doesn't respond at all, the next step would be to force it to turn off by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds, and turning it back on after a while.

No power

Try this: - Turn machine off; remove power cord; remove battery. - Without battery or power cord, press the power button and hold it down for at least 10 seconds. This discharges power 'residue' in the machine [and, I suspect gremlins]. - Reassemble power cord and battery. - Restart.

GT5014 won't boot

Generally this means there is a problem with the power suppy as it is not giving a correct voltage to the motherboard to start the computer. check your fans on the power supply, make sure they start when you try to start the computer . A power suppy may be purchased and installed fairly easy. and you should spend no more than 50 dollars on the parts.

Not everything powers up when I turn on my disassembled computer

remove first the power suppy. if it is 24pin power suppy, shorten pin 15/16. that is the black and green,
if the fan of power supply rotates, then the P.S. is ok.
then return it to motherboard. check your connection with the motherboard power switch.
good luck

PSP photoX2 not responding

The solurion to your problem is simple, go to Administrative Tools -> Services and stop ProtexisLicensing
(or just press Start-> Run -> services.msc and press Enter)
Stop the service and put on Disable.

Go to Strat-> Run -> sc delete ProtexisLicensing
and press Enter, now ProtexisLicensing will be removed from services list

Go to SYSTEM32 folder and rename these files:
- PSIService.exe - PSIService.bak
- PSIKey.dll - PSIKey.bak

Reboot your compter and reload the software. Should stop that not responding error. Paintshop Pro when it installs onto your computer also installs this adware onto the computer as well, in most cases by disable this service, it should correct your problems. Also a good idea is to disable that file indexer as well.. All that does is slow down your computer and you'll probably not use it in Paintshop Pro. It's not really needed. Hope this helps...

System turns on however hard drive will not cycle nor will mouse or key board activate

Turn power off and unplug power from computer.
Unplug printers,backup drives and speakers.
Open case and unplug power supply from the board.
plug power cord back in press the power button.
Of course nothing will happen.
unplug power cord again.
plug power supply back into the board.
plug power cord backup and press power switch.
If nothing happens unplug power cord again.
pull out your memory sticks and plug cord back in and press power button.
Of course not much will happen.
But really something is happening to your computer so continue.
Pull power cord and replace memory sticks.
replace power cord and press power switch.
Continue this pulling out pci cards one at a time until you find out what the problem might be.
Try different keyboards and mice too.
Good Luck
