Only one channel plays audio from MP3 connected...

I have an Insigia 8GB MP3 player. When connected via RCA cables I only get audio from one channel (speaker). I've tried it on several other shelf systems and the same thing. I worked with Best Buy and they had me reset my unit, reload my music and try again. Still the same thing.

GuruWhat is the connector on the MP3 side. Are you using a small 1/8" stereo plug?
