Question about Russell Hobbs Cordless Electric Kettle Electric Kettle
My Russell Hobbs cordless kettle Model 10790 has suddenly stopped working less than two years after buying it -- and very little use. The blue light comes on but the water won't heat. I'm almost certain the kettle has never boiled dry. The instructions refer to a cut-out switch that can be reset without explaining how to do this. I live in Sydney and am reluctant to pay for the kettle to be sent to and from Melbourne for repair, especially as I may have to pay for the repair if I have (unwittingly) contributed to the fault. The only way to get hard to find Russell Hobbs electric kettle parts is from Russsell Hobbs. They will not sell any parts that are in short supply or becoming obsolete. Please visit their website, follow the instructions for repair and send the unit to them.

Check mains fuse, if ok check for voltage at kettle , with multi meter, not phase tester as these can be faulty, if you have power and no heat then it has to be the switch or the element, check and replace same. if your unsure have an electrician do it for you
