statis is a small flower ( about pea-sized)that comes in purple..it also dries very well , keeps its color and shape and can be clumped to form mini boquoets. You could also try a "dollar store" for some of the real looking silk varieties of assorted flowers.
the purple screen and mesed up action replay are normal. action replay is not a licensed product of nintendo. it is only natural to have lag. (i have had 2 action replays before my third one. the first two broke...like yours. the only sokution is to get it repaired at a gamestop [if they even repair them] or just get a new one)
I finally found out how to fix this! go to this website :http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4801064/XBOX_360_Update_Files and download the torrent. Follow the directions from the second page of this forum: http://360mods.net/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=9796 . all you have to do is copy the $systemupdate folder that you need onto a usb drive and plug it into the 360 then turn on your 360. you can find out what number update you need by the number at the botom of the screen or if your like me and dont have those numbers youll have to go back and forth untill it boots up to the right update. make sure your flash drive is cleared out except the $systemupdate folder. go one at a time until it boots up with that update file.
This is almost identical to what happened to my system just before it gave me the red rings. I had to return my system. There is general hardware failure. The last lvl in assassins creed kept dropping me thought the map then i would get a checkerboard of purple and black squares all over my screen.
If you have a warranty i would return it to the store you bought it from and get a new one if not contact MS and see if they will cover it under there warranty. Since its a GPU failure i would think they would fix it for free but i cannot say for sure. They did extend there warranty on overheating which sounds like what has happend to yours to three years.
