Question about ATI RADEON Graphic Card

Input Lag in video games, ATI Radeon 3600 graphics card

I don't know if you guys would be able to assist but it's worth a try.
I play a video game, and in the latest patch there has been a known issue with input lag related to ATI graphics cards (which I am using)

Anyways the recommended work-around was to go to start-run and go to my services (services.msc) and find ATI HotKeyPoller and disable it. However, it simply isn't there. I have done everything I can think of.

I am using Vista 32 bit with an ATI Radeon HD 3600 series graphics card.

I just looked at my machine and i see the ATI HotKeyPoller I go to control panel then administrative tools then services but I have XP not vista. Many querks about vista. Maybe something to do with the drivers for that ATI cards. Have you checked for newer releases from their web site. Or maybe just remove and reinstall the drivers. If this helps please reply-that helps me continue top answer questions here and good luck

I have a P43-A7 motherboard and ATI Radeon HD 3600 series PCI-e graphic card on it. The system worked ok till few days ago. The system crushed several times at day continuosley till now. I can see the BSOD...

It really depends on your budget, if you play games, how much space you have inside the case and what PSU (power supply unit) you have.
A good video card it's the ATI HD5750 or the ATI HD5770, it's not huge, and should play games, although maybe not with the maximum settings.
If you want to go NVIDIA i would suggest a NVIDIA GTX560 or GTX460.

I have a game lag(games like War craft and Counter strike)...all drivers are up to date..system spec are also high..dont know what to do..plz help(( my laptop is amilo li 1718..the game lag is not related...

that unit may have decent processor specs but that means nothing because the video card for those are a ATI Radeon 200M. World of Warcraft does nto support that video card correctly and is too slow to make the graphics not lag.

counter strike source on full low everything will run fine on this video card but the game will look bad.

I can not play silkroad game on my pc .

Hello family ama,
Here are game requirements:
http://sro.mmosite.com/gameinfo/system_req.shtml

Please reinstall DirectX 9.0c from Microsoft.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3
Download and install the Radeon 7000 drivers from here:
http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati.php

You may also want to try running the game at the LOWEST settings possible. This may reduce a lot of the lag(delay/choppyness).
Hope this helps

My game wont work, it is Star Wars KOTON2

The mobility series from ATI Radeon are not suported by the game... i know that not even KOTOR 1 works with mobilyty cards. That is a thechnical problem you have due to the video chip. You can try to change it but since it is a mobility series it means you have a notebook computer... you will have some hard days rtying to find a video card for a notebook. Try at a repair center for laptops, maybe they have a solution. Note that the MOBILITY ans nVidia Geforce GO are not supported by many games... it's not worth it to mention that INTEL GMAs Graphic Cards are absolete for gaming. Try a ATI HD series or better an nVidia Geforce 7600GT 7800GT 8600GT or better. THe game works even on ATI 9200 and nVidia FX 5200 but there were never put in notebooks

Cannot play FIFA09

Uh oh. It looks like you're out of luck.

FIFA 09 PC Requirement (minimum):
Graphics: 6600 Nvidia graphics card or ATI equivalent with support for Pixel Shader 3
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c"

Nvidia 6600 came out at 2004 and it supports DirectX 9.0C (Shader 3 came with 9.0C)
ATI Radeon 9200 came out at 2003 and only support DirectX 8.1 (which support shader 1.2 - 1.4)

Nope, Radeon 9200 will not support Shader 3 (neither will it support 2.0).

Time for a new video card maybe?

I hope this answers your question.

Problem with Ati radeon graphic card

The ATI Radeon X1050 video card is unfortunately not supported by the game. You need atleast a X1300 to play the game. But you may try updating the game itself by going to the medal of honor website and download the patch. Then restart your computer and try starting the game.

Ati radion express 200

the ati radeon express 200 isnt really designed for modern gaming, its more for multimedia like videos, and the like, only solution would be to get a new video card if your computer has a fre PCI Express slot or a AGP slot, and a decent card will only cost about 50 - 70 dollars and you should be able to play your games quite well.

Items In Device Manager Not Recognized By XP Hi I am hoping that someone here can help me out with problems I have with my new graphics card, I am not sure if it is a software problem or a hardware one. The computer I have was made up by a friend three years ago and I just felt it was time to upgrade my graphics card! So I got the HIS HD 4670 IceQ 1GB (128bit) 850 MHz DDR3 PCIe a few days ago and loaded it yesterday with the updates that I could find on the internet. However this morning when I started my computer I got to my desktop and while it was loading the computer rebooted itself and has been working ok since. But I got a error warning when I returned to windows and it told me to update my drivers and hardware! I also noticed that in the hardware profiles I have the following with question marks on them; ? ! PCI Memory Controller ? ! SM Bus Controller ! Unknown Device (Sound, video and game controllers) So would these three items be causing my problems or something else? Plus does anyone know how I can resolve these issues? Just in case you need to know what I have in my computer, here is what I think you might need to know; Antec Sonata II Piano Black Quiet Super Mini Tower (With The SmartPower 2.0 450W ATX12V v2.01 Power Supply) 1 Rear 120mm Tri Cool Fan AMD 64 Athlon 3200+ 3 GB of Ram 250GB Hard Drive 500 GB External Drive Windows XP Pro (Service Pack 3) And if you need any more information, please let me know can I can supply it. I appreciate anyone?s help with these problems. Thanks Mark
