Describe your F6212-900 / F6215-900 SteamVac Agility Upright Vacuum Problem the bottom hose is split. how do I fix that? more specifically..how do I get it out???

I took out all of the screws in the housing, separated the left side from the right from the handle down. There were three screws on the underside of the upper unit. (right where the tanks sit). O those were out I could finally get to the broken hose.

Lower hose broken hoover agility how to replace

to replace a hose on the Hoover V2 is a pain in the you know what. i would recommend

1. take it in and have a professional repair shop do it.

2. trade the V2 in for the Hoover PowerMax steam cleaner with spinscrub they are 100X better then the V2's and about 1/2 the price

Hoover Steamvac Agility won't pick up dirty water

Press the handle release kick-button with your foot, extend the handle all of the way back, and take a look at the gap between the base of the unit and the handle/reseviour assembly. You should see several black hoses attached to the base and running up into the handle assembly. One of them (the dirty water return hose) might be cracked. Turns out that might be a common problem with this model. We had the same problem.

Judging by the interference between the vacuum hose and the "dirty water return" hose, there is NO WAY those two hoses can exist together in that housing without causing the dirty water return hose can last for many full bends of the handle. We opted to not repair our unit, but you might be able to do it yourself for the cost of the part and several hours of your time. Otherwise, seek out your certified Hoover repair center for more info.

Where is schematics online to replace lower hose assembly part

There is no schematic that I am aware of. I can tell you that from experience that this repair is very difficult. Basicaly the upper and lower handle unscrew along with the tank base, the hood comes off. the lower handle will split but not comes completely apart to remove the hose section. When reassembling, be sure to put the back hose gasket in the correct position. Look at it (take a picture) prior to repair first.
