Typically when the drying times are long there is a venting issue. Check that the vent is clear. If this is clear the blower wheel is know to slip on the shaft sometimes on this model. It would be making a strange sound if this was happening.

My Kenmore 6.7 cu ft he2 Super capacity electric dryer is taking twice as long to dry. no error codes

It sounds like a connection problem with one of the heating elements, or perhaps only a clogged input or output hose from the dryer. Either of these could cause the problem...also, a burned out electric element.

Turn dryer on and go outside to the vent and check for a good amount of air coming out. If you do not have a good amount of air coming out, take the exhaust tubes apart and clean.

Hi,

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have nottaken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then youneed to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should takeplace. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causesfor your dryer to fail.
