Dear Storm,
It seems that our mother board has gone wet. If possible remove the case of your IPod. Then with the help of the dryer, complete dry out the internal chips, circuits and mother board. when all the liquid evaporated, wait till mother board temperature comes to normal (by putting the same ideal for 20 to 30 minutes.) and assemble again...
If above procedure fails then visit to the nearest service centre and get it serviced because It may be possible that liquid has damaged some circuits or chips.

Itouch in the washing machine

It might be too late, but put it in a bag of white rice for a weak and then charge it or turn it on. gel silica packs work better if you have them. They will **** the moisture out of the ipod touch. if that doesnt work, your ipod touch has been shorted out.

Ipod went through the wash

I have seen it suggested across the web that placing the iPod in a bowl of white rice for a week or more can help to dry it out and soak up the moisture.
Don't try to turn it on until it has had time to dry out.
Best of luck!

The games that i tried to install on my ipod touch only, it installed on the computer only not my ipod touch why is this happening

If you purchased these games from the App Store through the iTunes program, you just need to sync iPod Touch. Connect your device to the computer and allow iTunes to run. It should automatically synchronize and put the games onto your device.

Ok so i have an ipod touch 3rd gen. 32gb. and i dropped it in water, it worked for a while and the brightness dimmed out and could barely see anything! and i was like all freaking out and when i put it in...

Well all may not be lost.
First off, I do have to say, if this ever happens again, DO NOT hairdry it. It might just further damage your iPod because of the extreme heat.
Instead, do what I will tell you to do now.
With any electronic item that you might have accidentally dropped into the water, place it into a container full of rice and bury it. The rice will naturally try to soak out all the water in the device. It might need a day or two, but after that, it should start working.
Since your aunt hairdryed it, it is possible that you really did damage it. Try the rice method first. If it doesnt work, then go to the Apple Store and try to get it repaired by them. If they refuse, you can give them your old one and buy a new one with a 10% discount.

Ipod touch does not save content

Try to hold down the power and home keys down for about 15 seconds each while plugged into itunes. When the screen goes black, release the power button but make sure to keep holding the home key until iTunes says; We have detected an itouch in recovery mode.

From there you can restore as normal via iTunes.

The light on my ipod touch dose not turn on?

hold the sleep button for about 5-6 seconds and restart it. Try that a few times, and then if that does not work, connect it to the computer and hit the 'restore' button and see if it will restore the light. Try to charge it also, sometimes that will help.
