Hello Fixya customer,

Thank you for your question,

There is no LAN connection for the TX-SR606. The available connections include, HDMI, Component, Composite, S-Video, Optical, Coax, and analog audio. The ports that you are referring to may be the HDMI ports.

Thank you for using Fixya.

Hi, you can hook the router to your computer using a standard Ethernet cable (the one with connectors that look similar to phone jack connectors, but a little wider). You should have an Ethernet port on the back of your computer, and you can connect the cable from there to the Ethernet LAN port on the router.

What wires plug in where for wired internet does it hook up to the router

You'll need a CAT-5 (or CAT-6) ethernet wire plugged into the ethernet port on the back of your PS3 with the other end plugged into one of the ethernet ports on your router (assuming your router has multiple ethernet ports). These ports will usually be labeled 1,2,3.. etc. Do not connect to the LAN or WAN ports on the router. If your router only has one port, you'll need to get an inexpensive ethernet switch to connect to the LAN port of the router and all of your computers, PS3 and other ethernet peripherals to the switch.

How do I hook up a Berklin wireless router to my comcast internet

Use an Ethernet cable to connect the port on the Comcast modem to the WAN port on the Berklin (Belkin????) router.
Use another Ethernet cable to connect one of the LAN ports on the router to the Ethernet port on your computer.
Start Internet Explorer on your computer.
Connect to the web-interface inside the router.
Run the "network setup wizard".
Run the "wireless setup wizard".

Trying to hook up xbox360 to my internet to play online

if your using a modem its possible that it doesnt have a Ethernet port....Check the back of your modem and you should see a port that says ethernet near it. Plug your ethernet cable to the port in the back of the modem where it says ethernet. With the other end you plug it into the back of your Xbox 360 (its located in back to the far left....it looks like a phone line jack). You should then have xbox live

Ethernet Port

unless you don't mind voiding your warranty, the only other way to fix it, is to crack open the case of the console, and force the ethernet port back into position, though I strongly suggest against this, since you could easily break something inside of the case and cause a far wose problem. The only other soultion is to dropa a couple hundred bucks for the wireless reciever, and get on the internet that way. Otherwise the best option is to send it to microsoft for repair.

Ethernet Port seems to be a failure, but the USB works fine

I managed to fix the problem manually using a computer kit I had.
The problem was the Ethernet port on the modem was messed up
you should check if the small wires are on the back are all facing towards the top if not you should try to fix its actually pretty easy
no need to pay for a repair :D
