I have an Amilo L7320GW laptop and it has stopped running games in full screen. I have played these games with no problem before. Now they only display in the top left corner of the screen and I can`t run them. I have not changed any settings or done anything different. The cd`s install ok, and then when I try to open the game it won`t display. This is happening to all of my games, not just one.(CSI, Sherlock Holmes,The Watchmaker etc.) My laptop is just over 1year old and I have an extended warranty.

Re: Screen won`t display games.
Re install Direct X new version on your laptop
reduce or lower down the resolution settings of your screen. On desktop right click select properties and under the settings tab reduce your resolution to a lower setting like 600*800 and click on Ok an OK again and retry playing your game
If it fails try restoring your computer to a previous date when you were still able to play the games. Start > all programs > accessories > systems tools > systems restore and click on the new window restore to and selct aday you remember you played the game well and resore to it.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Don't worry about that. I guess you were playing a full screen game, or a full screen program :) Try the following steps:
1-Open "Control Panel"
2-Open "Apperance and themes"
4-Get to the tab "Settings", and click "Advanced".
Now I don't know the following steps, because of your graphic card, but look everywhere for a phrase: "Rotation" or "Flip". As you find it, look for the option to reset to the normal position (0*)
What games do you play?
In some internet games you can press F11 for full screen.
Though in most games you have to go through their menu's to get full screen.
In windows the default keystroke for fullscreen in Alt, Enter pressed together.
Though that is not a guarantee either.
Generally how to get full-screen is different from game to game in some sort of settings menu.
For instance I play Last Chaos online and it is automatically full-screen.
When I played runescape online I had to select full-screen at the log in screen.
I don't suppose the game being on CD has anything to do with it. You don't mention if you are using XP, Vista or what, so advice is general
Several things you should check :
1. on control panel, look at display settings - especially check you don't have multi-display settings (i.e. set to display screen over multiple screens) switched on.
2. click on icon for your graphics card in taskbar if you have one. Check the settings for your graphics card (probably ATI or Nvidia, but could be under name for brand such as Sapphire or XFX)) - also look for multi-display settings here.
