The sound just stopped working. The speakers are hooked up correctly. No buttons were pushed on the remote.. One min it was working, and the next no sound...the speakers work when the FM radio station is on but not the TV or DVR.. Occasionally, in the middle of watching tv, the receiver would just shut off. we would have to reboot the whole system...Now we have no sound..

SOURCE: No Sound

It seems to be that the antenna is at fault. If you can take it apart, you should resolder the antenna.

SOURCE: Speaker Problem

Before you replace the speaker, swap the left and right. If the sound problem follows the speaker, the speaker is bad. If the problem remains on the same side, the problem is with the unit. Lets assume that the problem is inside the unit. In that case, the problem could be just a bad connection. If you can solder, check the main board around the speaker terminals for poor solder connections. If that is not the problem, update this and I'll provide additional things you can test and check.

You just come aroung the sound decoder section of your tv. Decoder problems may cause the fult you pointed out. Since all the controls are electronically controlled, and all are through sound decoder, which converts sound to stereo the problem must be there. Since sound comes from two channels are ok, there is no problem around sound output. Check for some soldering loose contact, wire socket loose cotanct also.

SOURCE: AIWA CX NA909 w/SXWNA 909 Speakers. Just hooked up for a friend that has been idle since a move 1 1/2 years ago. Can only get one FM station only. No AM at all...suggestions. Ralph

I guess you answered the question right then....., you need the antenna. If you've lost the antenna, I'd suggest a piece of wire, not too thick though...
As for the AM, that uses a loop antenna, so you might have difficulties with that one.

Toshiba VC-L2B Remote Control Sound volume bar is moving up and down, but there is no sound out of speaker.

Check to make sure the wiring between the sound bar and your audio source is hooked up correctly. Check the source to see if it has it's own volume control. Many TVs require external speakers to be enabled in the "audio" section of your TV's "Settings" menu.

We have our subwoofer hooked up to our Denon AVR-787, but not getting any sound from it. I'm sure it's some knob we need to turn or button to push.... All other speakers are working Help?! We're not...

press setup/configuration on your remote you'll get configuration menu, then goto 'speaker configuration' check if the subwoofer is on, check that front speakers and others are set as small. There also could be subwoofer mode settings, remember current setting and try to change it.

I have a 32" flat screen and i have no sound.

hello. most likely someone pushed the mute button on the remote or went into the menu and into the audio area and turned off the speakers. So. begin by pushing the mute button on your remote and if that does not restore the sound. go into the menu and find the audio area and turn the speakers on.

Volume buttons stopped working

Check in the TV's AUDIO menu for anything related to turning on/off speakers. Also, unplug RCA's that you may have hooked up to the Audio OUT ports. Some video inputs may not have a sound input associated. The only one I can think of would be VGA, but even that would be rare.

No sound from speakers

check to make sure you have your speakers turned "ON" many amps have "A" and "B" speakers or 1 and 2 and then check the back to make sure no wires are touching and determine what output you are using for your speakers.... also you have to make sure that that corresponding button is depressed for those speakers.... also check you have the correct input selceted for your speakers and that no wires are crossed..... theres is probably notihng wrong with the speakers you just need to paly with your amp

Did you press the "TEST" button on the remote? It will send some white noise to each speaker that is hooked up, one at a time.

Speaker off

You will need an original Mitsubishi remote. The original remotes usually have 3 large oval buttons labeled Audio (up and down), Adjust (up and down) and Video (up and down). Pressing the Audio button will bring up the usual Bass, Treble, Balance... and Speakers Off. When you see those words press the Adjust button and the speakers will switch to On. Some sets have the Audio, Adjust and Video buttons behind a little door on the front of the set, so check there first and if not, get an original remote.
