If its a Intel wi-fi 5100 or 5300, go ahead and update the wireless driver. it will fix the issue for you.

How do I take the ignition and replace it,keys lost and the ignition is locked.

There is a chip in the key and a chip in the ignition lock. The ECU needs to recognise both. You can do this two ways. The dealership can program it using a computer, or you can disconnect the battery for a couple of hours and then reconnect it with the key in the ignition.

In your case, you can just take your registration document to a dealership and they will cut you a new key using the VIN Number. Then disconnect the battery for a couple of hours,

My wifi keeps disconnecting and have to restart phone to reconnect, but only lasts for maybe an hour

Samsung Galaxy S 4G Smartphone: WiFi disconnects (have to restart phone to reconnect, does not scan for WiFi connections):

Hello. It could be that your "Auto Network Switch" setting is on..

What Auto Network Switch does: when the WiFi gets too low the phone automatically switches to cellular, and when cellular connection gets too low, the phone will switch to WiFi

All Samsung Galaxy's are not alike for it's menu settings.. but you can try:

for S4 and up:
Settings>hold down on WiFi settings for a second then let go > un-check box at top for "Smart Network Switch"

for other Samsung Smartphones see the attached video below:

If your device is having issues trying to scan for your router.. try turning off your router for 2 minutes, then turn it back on.. make sure you wait a few minutes for your router to properly boot back up before you try scanning for your WiFi network again

Air con keeps turning its self on and off ???

Could be low on freon therefore the low pressure switch cuts it off. Once the pressures get stablize it will cut the unit back on until it goes off on low pressure switch once again

I have new laptop how many hour battery charge first time

First Time Charging
  • The amount of time it takes for your battery to fully charge depends on many factors, like your battery type and operating system. Many newer laptops will charge in 15 to 20 minutes, while others can take a few hours.

When you're charging your battery for the first time, charge it fully before using your laptop. You may have to go through a battery cycle a couple times before your battery begins performing at its maximum capability. To do this, charge your battery fully, let it discharge to about five percent, and then fully charge it again

Compaq WF1907 monitor keeps going to sleep every couple minutes..

Sounds like the backlight may be on its way out.

Put a large font single word onto the screen in a high contrast such as white on black. Get the monitor near a window if possible, and the next time the monitor seems to go off, see if you can still feintly see the image using natural light.

The backlight can be replaced, but it is somtimes so expensive, it's easier to buy a new monitor.

    How old is it?
