frame cracked on the top tube right in the middle. As far as I can tell
it was from resting on the frame at a stop light. The frame has never
been crashed or fallen. I rode out to the San Clemente grand prix and
noticed the crack right at the start of the race and was only 1/4 of the
way around. By the end of the race the crack was about 3/4 around the
Use the size adjustment buckle to produce a
comfortable fit for you and your baby. (The Baby Bjorn Active Baby
Carrier is adjustable both for the baby and the parent). Make sure you
are using BOTH adjustments, rather than merely adjusting for one or the
other of you. Think of it as putting on (and tying) two separate shoes.
Both should be nice and snug. Every review that i have said says these are never as comfortable as a wrap, but seem to be more convenient.

Unbuckle one or both of the side straps when taking the baby in and out of the baby carrier. This makes the job much quicker and smoother and everyone will be much more content.
You may want to check that the adjustable strap at the bottom front of the carrier is at the proper position for the height and weight of your child. She shouldn't be slouching in the carrier. The carrier is designed for the legs to be slightly spread apart or 'frog legged' but she shouldn't be in a 90 degreee stradle.
Hope this is helpful.
This will be hard to explain, but please bear with me. The 1994 unit I have is on ebay right now...I would imagine newer models are similar. http://cgi.ebay.com/Fisher-Price-Perfect-Support-Baby-Carrier-Gently-Used_W0QQitemZ290040314299QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116
The baby seat portion has one color clips, while the adult portion has a different color clips. Mine are white, and turquoise. The baby part has two 'buttons' near the **** area. Depending which one is snapped into the V shape notch on the adult part, the baby either faces toward the adult, or outward.
The adult harness makes an X on your back, with a U shape in the front. The wider band part goes around the adults waist. On the baby seat part, the white clips go around the baby's tummy, similar to putting on a diaper. The turquoise clips on the baby part clip to the turqouise clips on the adults front shoulder area. Each strap is then adjustable for correct length.
Hope this helps. I got mine at a garage sale, too, and it took awhile to figure out.
Hi- I misplaced my Bjorn baby carrier manual and contacted baby swede (see link below). The customer service rep was awesome. Go to the link and find your carrier. Scroll down to downloads. You can either download the manual or ask the customer service rep to send a manual to you. Good luck!
Which way is she facing? I have a 9 month old baby boy and this doesn't happen, and he is a little hefty! I am wondering if your lower straps are too tight. If she is facing forward, does she lean forward having the material cut into her legs? Maybe that causes the circulation loss. I always have my son face inward. He likes it more and it is more natural.
