What regulator does a empire model 115 15000 btu take?

The regulator on the heater probably is not but is probably a device to prevent the heater being used unless the gas pressure is high enough and also serves to prevent air entering the gas line and also serves to arrest flashbacks.

The standard propane low pressure regulator is 14" water gauge but the heater might need a high pressure regulator. The best way to decide which type of high pressure regulator to use, because there are several, is to use an adjustable regulator.

After installing the adjustable regulator the pressure is increased until gas can be heard to be flowing and the heater lit. The regulator should then be adjusted to produce a clean flame of the correct length and then the regulator adjustment locknut should be tightened.

If the heater is to be used indoors it is important to ensure there is plenty of ventilation and the emissions are checked by a gas engineer.

The regulator seems to be closing off completely, and not flowing gas (LPG). We have converted cooktop from natural gas to propane per instructions manual -- changed orifice spuds, converted regulator and...

I HATE TO TRY AND EXPLANE THIS FOR FEAR SOME THING MAY GO WRONG DID YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER. FROM NATURAL GAS TO LP YOU SHOULD OF HAD TO CHANGE THE POSISTION OF THE ORVICE IN THE REGULATER THAT IS WHY YOU ARN'T GETTING THRU THE REGULATOR CHECK YOUR DIRECTIONS AGAIN SOME TIME YOU HAVE TO THIGHTEN THE NUT ON THE REGULATOR SO IT DISTORTS THE ORFICE TO LP, AND SOME MODELS YOU HAVE TO TURN THE ORFICE OVER. BECAREFUL AND TRY AGAIN

Brown TM210-4 kitchen range... how do i switch from LP Gas to Nat. Gas on this model? Is it just a regulator adjustment? or do i have to change the orifices as well?

Both. If this is a sealed top range, then you will have to change out the orifices and flip the cap on the regulator. If this is an open top style range (the top lifts up around the burners) then the orifices need to be adjusted and the regulator cap flipped. The oven/broiler orifices will also need to be changed or adjusted, depending on which kind they have. Some older models also require converting the oven thermostat from LP to natural gas (and vice versa) by turning the screw to the correct marked setting. If you have your owner's manual, it explains the conversion in it. If not we may be able to find it online for you to download. Douglas

Kenmore gas stove can it be changed to work for propane

Yes, your gas range can be converted to propane. Your owners manual will give you step by step instructions. Since there are many different models, there are different procedures involved to convert to propane. On some models you must change the top burner orifices where other models have adjustable orifices. The oven burner has an adjustable orifice(same with broil burner if there is one). The range regulator must be adjusted to stay open all the time because your propane system has its own regulator.

Marshall control valve . gas regulator valve

Replace the regulator as this is typically an issue where the diaphragm has separated from between the body and bonnet. This is not repairable. There is no recall for this as was in the case of the 450 regulator as it is a manufacturing variance that happens with all products. It passed initial QC, but in time the diaphragm moved.
