Exactly the same problem as linroze error code is 0xc18a0501.

Trouble shoot guide at HP advised switching off printer, unpluggint it and removing cartridges. Leave for 2 mins plug back in and wait for prompt to install carts again. Made no difference. Any other Ideas?

The main thing to do is to ensure that you have it plugged directly into the wall for power. It sounds silly, I know, but humor me.

The other thing you can try, is replacing the cartridges or power module which unfortunately is not the most cost effective method of finding out your printer is no longer functional.

If those steps do not resolve it, you have a hardware issue that will need to be serviced.

Ink system failure is mostly caused by print heads. i do apologize but with issues like this, the best resolution is to replace the printer. it will only cost you buying new ink cartridges but it will not resolve the issue. :(
