How to reverse the door - Miele Novotronic T1515A Electric Dryer

If its a side by side like the one showing on your post, I doubt you can unless there is a spot showing for under the door, and the water and electrical lines are long enough to switch.

Deb, that reversal is a child safety device - if the bottom edge of the door detects contact with any object, it'll immediately reverse so it doesn't kill a child. Or a cat, dog, whatever.

The opener mechanism should have a stop switch that prevents the door from closing hard against the floor - that stop switch needs to be adjusted so that the door will stop JUST before hard contact. That'll take care of it "bouncing" off the floor & reversing. As to it reversing before it touches the floor... examine both guide rails closely to see if there's any obstruction that the door's bottom edge may be contacting to trigger the child protection reversal switch.

The Kenmore HE4T washer does not have a reversible door. The matching dryer would have a reversible door.

Some newer washers do have a reversible door but it is still a very small number of washer that allow you to reverse the door.

You can not reverse the door on an HE4T washer.

Due to the shape of the washer door, and how it seats against the control panel, the door cannot be reversed on the Duet washer. There are no cut outs along the door opening to accommodate the door hinge screws and the door latch on opposite sides. The Duet DRYER, on the other hand, CAN be reversed. nope only the dryer doors are reversable..last washer to have reverable door that i know of was old neptune

Electrolux has a reversible door for both front load washer and dryer. Just found that out at HHGregg because we need to put our washer to the right of the dryer, and none of the other makes will allow the washer door swing to be switched.

You can't reverse the washer door, only the dryer door.
They don't make the washers reversible because the door latch and wiring harness would have to be relocated to the other side. It just isn't practical from a manufacturing standpoint.
