Hi,
Unfortunately if they are knobs they may still be "live" when the panel is locked. To be sure try one of the burners when the panel is locked to see if it comes on. If they do come on, you can get knob covers at most hardware stores that work well.

How can I permanently disable child lock whilst using cooktop. Child lock keeps engaging and this is impairing quick access to burners

If it is what I think you are talking about you can not all burners now have got an FSD (flame supervision device) to control them you have to press down turn ignite and hold for a few more seconds untill it has warmed up and then release, then it will stay alight. under NO circumstances must this be deactivated.

I have a samsung RS265TDRS side by side door. The fridge works but the control panel is frozen/not working. When we press the buttons, it doesn't respond. What can we do?

Make sure that some type of child lock isn't on. The most simple panels will have one or two buttons associated with the lock function, or maybe some small writing that says hold down such and such buttons to operate the child lock function. Check the manual if you're having trouble. If that doesn't solve your problem, you may need to get someone to take a look at the fridge.

I Cooktop locks when power goes out.

Hi, unfortunately your range needs power to energize a solenoid which allows gas to flow to the cook top. It would seem that you may have inadvertently got the wrong model. This feature is only handy when there is a safety need to limit access to the burners. Theoretically,  the solenoid could be removed and the gas would then work with no power but you may be better off selling the range and buying another one. Best of luck.

The oven turns on but the burners don't. already cleaned them but no luck. he oven is receiving gas but not the burners.

The only way the burners could not receive gas is if the lock-out is activiated (also known as: child safe mode) . Most people (when the burners do not work) say that they here the gas hissing from the burner but it will not light, hiwever you say that no gas is hissing from the burners, therefore must be the lock-out. To unlock, look in your operation manual because there are a few different ways to do this.
One common way is to hold a particular button for 3 full seconds; some models have a button with a lock picture, others tell you to hold the stop/clear button or the light button for the 3 seconds. If this does not activate the burners, you have a malfunction of the lock-out valve or the control board or a wire connection gone bad between these items, and this will require a techperson to trouble shoot it. Some one may have pressed the child lock button(looks like a padlock pic) It locks out functions. Push and hold the child lock button for 3 or more seconds. If thats not it try running the clean cycle and then cancle it after a min. If door locks and un locks should be ok.

EUROLEC 3572 9506 LPG GAS OVEN

OK sista62, here is your solution. The problem is that the thermocouple that controls the valve supplying gas to the ovenjet is not working. A new thermocouple is available from http://blgas.com.au/online/category4_1.htm and will cost about AUD$40.00.

The control valve is located right behind the knob on the frontpanel (the centre one that controls both the oven and the grill.) You will see two small copper tubes going into the control valve. These are the thermocouple tubes, one comes from the griller and the other from the ovenjet. All the other knobs only have one thermocouple for each of the topplate burners.

If you want to test before you buy, disconnect the thermocouple from from one of the topplate burners and connect it to the one for the oven control valve. Now turn on the topplate burner and keep it going by holding the knob down on the front panel for this burner. Now light the oven burner and it should stay on.

Good luck.
