Question about Kenmore 40494 / 40495 / 40499 Electric Single Oven
There are 2 ways to unlock these
the first is to unplug the appliance for 30 seconds then plug it back in then wait 30 seconds and repeat do this a total of three times then on the last time plug it in and wait 5 min and then press the unlock as usual
Now on the newer models you need to unplug it for a minimum of 1 hour to allow the internal resetting feature to reset the appliance fully then simply plug it in and wait 5 min and you should hear it unlock automatically or jsut wit the five min and then unlock it as you would normally do ok
Hope this is all very helpful please keep me posted on how this is going
Best regards Michael
