Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router

It is likely that the wireless is turned off in the router. To access the router, use a cable connected computer.
The default access method is;
1 open a browser (IE or Firefox)
2 in the address bar type in 192.168.1.1
3 the login is blank, the password is admin
4 along the top of the router screen are several words
Like; Basic wireless security....
5 click 'wireless'
6. the first box should be 'mixed
the second type in the network name
click the enable button for the SSID broadcast
7 click the save settings at the bottom
This will turn on the routers radio
