Question about Sony VAIO PCG-Z1WAMP1 Notebook

I have a sony vaio pcg r5050gl that i accidently erased windows from and now I get a blue screen of death error. I tried to perform the system recovery but I get a disk access: sense operation failed error.

    I am no longer getting the BSOD error. When it is turned on it shows sony on the screen briefly and then says error loading operating system.

    These are the actual recovery disks. I have Disk 1 and 2. I also have the the application recovery disks 1, 2 and 3. I really don't know what these are for.

If you are still getting the BSOD please check the link below so you can get the info that I need to help diagnose the issue.

Also when you reinstalled Windows did you format the hole drive including the recovery partion.

    It sounds like the recovery did not load properly. Question do you have your acttual recovery CD and/or know a friend that has a model that is close to yours that have their recover CDs.

    What these disks are are the actual recovery disks for your computer if the recovery partition fails.

    So that you need to do is put disk 1 in for computers ROM drive then restart the computer. Press F12 at boot should give you your boot menu.

    Once the boot menu is up select Boot From CD. This will start the reimage process to get your computer back to factory.
