I have had the same problem for ages. I have got around it by stil using predictive text but when you have finished typing the word dont press space. Press "right" to take you to the end of that word then space then you can the type your next word. You have to press right after every word but it's better than texting without predictive.

I have exactly the same problem it starts off gradually and now it doesnt stop!! you can try going back to the person that supplied your phone and quoting the sales of goods act, it basically sends shivers down companies spines as they are legally not allowed to provide goods that are not fit for their purpose and as this phone is covered by a one yr manufacturers garauntee it is proof that samsung expect it to last longer than a few months. Might be of some help to get a new phone.

(Problem with phone freezing when txting or on startup.) I have had this same problem with several u600's, After returning them back to the shop and sending them off to Samsung they tell me that this has been caused by myself by putting excess pressure on the screen, this is a load of poo considering I tried and tested and found the same fault with a brand new one of these literally a few days ago, I am now going to start action against Samsung in realtion to these phones and I am going to contact trading standards and BBC Watchdog, anyone that will join me in this battle please contact me at chris_meyler@hotmail.co.uk

How do i put in underscores in my Samsung SGH-F330?

you should be able to repeatedly press the 0,1,# or * keys, to input your symbols.....provided your phone is not set to predictive text.....or T9.......or auto-tet, or sure-type, or whatever its called.....if it is, then while you're typing a text, press your options or menu key, and you should see a "symbols" option or something along those lines. hope this helps.

I keep getting a message saying not enough storage space. delete things to make room. but i have an sd card and i was wondering if i could move the majority of my stuff onto the sd card so i have more room...

your phone's memory is congested
try to remove unnecessary files one by one, dont try to delete them all immediately as itll cause your unit to run slow

you can also check if your unit has a master reset
bring it back the way it was before =]

My phone will not send a text message. It keeps saying "Network Problem Code: 00003"

Is it prepaid? If it is, than you might have ran out of prepaid credits. Is it postpaid? If so the subscription may have expired and you'll have to resubscribe or renew your account. Does the phone have signal? Perhaps your out of the network coverage area.

MY BLACKJACK KEEPS SAYING MEMORY FULL WHEN ITS NOT FULL AND I EVEN DELETED ITEMS AND CHECKED THE MEMORY AND MY STORAGE IS FULL BUT MEMORY IS NOT PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT I CAN DO TO FIX THIS I CANT TAKE...

I think it is because

a) Internet Explorer memory is taking up too much space
b) Google Maps cache is taking up too much space
c) or the Volatile folder is taking up too much space...I have found three other people that say whack the contents of this folder....no naysayers just yet...

Mobile phone freezes

Your firmware is corrupt. Your phone needs to be flashed to the newest firmware. It happens quite often, you are not alone. You have to go to your local samsung service center., or service provider. They should be able to do it right on the spot while you wait. About 20 min or so. If you cant find a samsung service center, or your phone is out of warranty, try finding an independent cellphone shop. They should be able to do it as well, they may charge anywhere from $40 to $60. If you still cant find anywhere to get it done, look in my profile, and im sure we can help ou out. Before you should do any of the above, try a master reset

I have the same problem.  My phone retailer suggested that it might be a software problem.
