I would check the startup resistors and the electrolitic capacitors on the power supply board it quite common for them to loose capacitance and cause the power supply not to start,it can be proved some times by warming the psu board with a hairdryer then turning on. i hope this helps?

Converter box will not stay on - starts green light then switches to red

I have one of those right here attached to my computer so I can watch TV on the PC. The red-green light is the power indicator. Your converter is turning off for some reason. Possibly it is getting a signal from another remote, and turning off. You can block the converter's remote sensor with something (black tape works) and then change the channels with front panel buttons if it has them.
Mine has power buttons for both the TV and the converter, so watch out for that.

Dynex model dx-l24-10a no red

First thing to know is if you are using the component input on back of set (red, blue, green) to make sure red plug at both ends is all the way in.

If hooked another way or using a box or not let me know.

Dtv tuner DTT901 no power for red and blue light

Dear Friend,

I am not sure if this question involves PS3 or a Digital Box but, it looks like you are trying to resolve some issues with your Digital Box from Zenith if I not mistaken.

First, if there is no reset button in the back, press the power button for about 30 seconds and release it, the light usually flash or goes on and off.

Second, If the above step does not work I suggest you to replace, return or contact Zenith for warranty.

Third, try a another brand since people have too much issue with Digital boxes from Zenith.

Good Luck!!!.

Problem programming Zenith Digital TV Converter DTT901 remote.

Be sure that your TV is set to channel 3 or 4 if you are using the RF cable or Video 1, etc if using the Audio/Video cable.  The Installation  Guide should appear.  The "improved" picture that you are seeing is simply the analog throughput, not the digital conversion.

Digital converter box setup

Hi Kilroy75,

It sounds like you probably set this up properly. The converter box is powered on, indicated by the blue light (it is illuminated red if powered off). I would recommend that you check to see if your TV has to be on a specific channel to receive external input.

To double check the connection, you should be able to follow the antenna into the converter box, then the converter box into the TV. Check to make sure you have input/output correct, and that video matches video, audio matches audio, etc.

Also, some antennas require power. If this is the case, make sure the antenna is plugged in and powered on.

If none of these suggestions help, I would try a little troubleshooting to determine which piece of equipment is giving the problem. Try connecting another device into the same input to see if your TV receives signal through input 1. You may also try a different set of A/V cables or a different input on the TV.

If you still are unable to get your setup working, I recommend you bring the converter box into your local Geek Squad® precinct for further troubleshooting and advice.

Thank you,
Jason,
